Yinqi obtained his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 2017. Subsequently, he moved to the University of Madison-Wisconsin and obtained his Ph.D. in Physics in 2024. During his Ph.D. in the group of Prof. Maxim G. Vavilov he has worked on the simulation of superconducting qubits, including fluxonium qubits and gateman qubits. Yinqi joined the “Theory of Quantum Circuits & Materials” group in October 2024. He will be working on novel superconducting qubits, gate designs, and non-reciprocal superconducting systems.
